Add some Nordic flowers and berries to your garden! Lidl are currently selling lingonberry plants for £3.99.
I bought one of these plants today and was excited to sample one of the berries. Well...it wasn't quite as tasty as the ones in Sweden and the label has the following graphic on it:
So I'm not sure if I was supposed to eat it at all. But after extensive googling and worrying, I can't find any adverse effects from vaccinium-vitis and I may live to see another day.
The plant will look lovely in a big pot in the garden, and as it can survive -30 degree winters in Sweden, I hope it can survive my gardening skills!
